A key component within Unio, the Wealth Management division oversees all client engagement including delivery of a unique outcome based proposition to existing and prospective clients. This is delivered through the wealth management advisory team and supported by the client service function. The Wealth management team develop insightful thought leadership content and will lead and refine the capability of the wealth management advisory team.
In addition, this Division will develop a deep understanding of what drives client values, opportunities for growth, emerging disruptions, and value based pricing and proposition activities.
Role:
We are looking to recruit Financial Paraplanners to join a growing and dynamic team and be part of a business at the leading edge of Wealth Management in Ireland. Focused on client delivery, the Private Wealth Management team can be described as energetic, collaborative and innovative.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Private Client Advisers to construct and assess scenarios based on the clients’ needs and objectives using Voyant financial planning software
Liaise directly with clients, and external providers, to assist and clarify details feeding into a client’s financial plan
Identify and communicate any additional opportunities to the Private Client Advisers that may be appropriate for the client
Contribute towards client meetings through presentation of Voyant plans and live build out of any new scenarios as relevant
Prepare reports outlining wealth and cashflow projections, personal financial goals and advice relating to the actions required to meet the clients’ objectives
Contribute towards the review of client plans in conjunction with changes in circumstances, identifying realignment strategies to meet ongoing objectives
Assist in briefing the wider Wealth Management team in relation to legislative and technical changes impacting on planning solutions

Ensure all technical information, used by the business to provide advice to clients is up-to-date and accurate
Work closely with existing financial planners to manage priorities and timely delivery of financial plans
Build and maintain working relationships with the wider Wealth Management team to ensure high standards in the delivery of the proposition.
Skills and Qualifications:
QFA Certified (minimum) or hold an equivalent qualification which satisfies the Minimum Competency Requirements of the Central Bank of Ireland
CFP part or fully certified (working toward this qualification will be an
advantage)
Demonstrate a thorough knowledge and understanding of financial planning with a minimum 3+ years’ experience within financial services
Strong technical knowledge and understanding of the various products, services and strategies available to financial planners including legislative and tax implications
Ability to demonstrate application of skills and knowledge to achieve objectives and make the complex simple
Strong numerical ability with high level of attention to detail
Excellent oral and written presentation and communication skills
Strong working knowledge of Voyant financial planning software an advantage
Have extensive knowledge of the products available in the Irish market to address personal, family and business protection and pre- and post-retirement planning needs.

Numeracy and excellent organisation skills are essential for this position
