Role:
We are looking to recruit a Paraplanner to join a growing and dynamic team and be part of a business at the leading edge of Wealth Management in Ireland. Focused on proposition and client value delivery, the Private Wealth Management team can be described as energetic, collaborative and innovative.
Based within the Wealth Management Advisory Team, the Paraplanner will report to the Head of Financial Planning, with an operational line to the relevant Head of Segment. On a rotational basis the Paraplanner may move across the wealth advisory segments to gain experience in each of the specific areas in which Unio operates.
This role will be based in our Dublin office.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure an uncompromising high quality client experience
Integral role ensuring our goals-based planning proposition is delivered equally and consistently to our advisory clients
Support the Private Client Advisers with pre and post client meeting prep and administration including drafting meeting packs, portfolio valuations, post meeting notes.
Manage the upkeep of client files & records on the CRM system.
Work with Private Client Advisers to ensure that all clients files are compliant with regulations.
Work with the Head of Segment or Director, to manage effectively new client engagements and opportunities through to satisfactory completion
Issue and follow up on Letters of Authority, collate client data and evaluate existing products & investments held by clients.
Assist the adviser to identify new opportunities that may be appropriate for the client.
Work with the support of Financial Planning Team to prepare cashflow modelling and analysis.
Contribute towards the client reviews ensuring investments continue to align with goals and any changes in circumstances, identifying realignment strategies to meet ongoing objectives
Produce/collate new business quotations for the advisory team
Attend Client meetings with Private Client Advisers, where appropriate.
Act as a secondary point of client contact (in addition to the lead Advisers). Particularly in regard to data gathering and driving opportunities to completion.
Build and maintain working relationships with the wider Wealth Management team to ensure high standards in the delivery of the proposition.
Assist in the development of process flows across Client Services, Financial Advisors and Financial Planner teams
Skills and Qualifications:
QFA Certified (minimum) or hold an equivalent qualification which satisfies the Minimum Competency Requirements of the Central Bank of Ireland
CFP or working toward this qualification will be an advantage
Excellent data analysis and research skills
Strong numerical ability with high level of attention to detail
Excellent oral and written presentation and communication skills
Strong knowledge of financial products available in the Irish market
Strong working knowledge of cashflow modelling software an advantage
Minimum 2-4 year’s industry experience
Personal Qualities:
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Assertive with good problem-solving skills
Demonstrate a high degree of energy, enthusiasm, and flexibility
Numeracy and excellent organisation skills are essential for this position
Successful candidates are likely to be confident multi-taskers with a good work ethic and a keen focus on attention to detail and quality
The ideal candidate will be looking to transition from an administrative role to an advisory or financial planning role
