With offices in Dublin, Cork and Limerick, Unio has €14 billion in assets under administration and advice. We advise more than 10,000 private clients in relation to wealth management.


A key component within Unio, the Wealth Management division oversees all client engagement including delivery of a unique outcome based proposition to existing and prospective clients. This is delivered through the wealth management advisory team and supported by the client service function. The Wealth management team develop insightful thought leadership content and will lead and refine the capability of the wealth management advisory team.

In addition, this Division will develop a deep understanding of what drives client values, opportunities for growth, emerging disruptions, and value based pricing and proposition activities.


Role:

We are looking to recruit Private Client Advisers to join a growing and dynamic team and be part of a business at the leading edge of Wealth Management in Ireland. Focused on client delivery, the Private Wealth Management team can be described as energetic, collaborative and innovative.

This role will focus on providing Wealth Management solutions and advice to a specific portfolio of High Net Worth clients while offering the opportunity to develop successful commercial relationships with both existing and new clients.


The role can be based in our Dublin or Cork office.


Key Responsibilities:

• Delivery of wealth management advice to an existing portfolio of clients focusing on providing a comprehensive range of solutions and outcome based financial planning & investment solutions.

• Generating new business from servicing an existing client base or other referrals

• Prospecting for and acquiring new clients

• Delivering the Unio Wealth management proposition, the suitability of same and meeting all regulatory requirements as applied to advice

• Work closely with team members supporting the delivery of an excellent specialist service to clients.


Skills And Qualifications:

• QFA Certified (minimum) or hold an equivalent qualification which satisfies the Minimum Competency Requirements of the Central Bank of Ireland

• CFP part or fully certified (working toward this qualification will be an advantage)

• Prior experience and knowledge of dealing directly with clients and providing personal financial planning solutions for their needs

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to and build a trusting relationship with clients (business owners, senior executives, self-employed and employees)

• Knowledge of the products available in the Irish market to address personal, family and business protection and pre and post-retirement planning needs

• Strong focus on delivering and exceeding client requirements and expectations

• Excellent analytical, communication and writing skills with a complimentary professional presentation style

• Strong demonstrable record in relationship management built up through relevant work experience

• Working knowledge of Voyant would be an advantage but not essential

• Numeracy and excellent organisation skills are essential for this position.

This position is a Controlled Function under the Central Bank’s Fitness and Probity Regime. Any offer will be contingent on satisfying the criteria to act in a CF3 capacity.
